Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 10 July 2014 Onwards

These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in the CEITRC National Level Scholarship Olympiads (GKSO and HWSO) organized by the Central Education & Information Technology Research Committee (CEITRC). By registering, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility and Registration

  • Eligibility: The Olympiad is open to students generally from Class 1st to 8th, depending on the specific Olympiad (GKSO or HWSO).

  • Registration Process: Registration must be completed through the official CEITRC website or the school portal. The registration deadline is strictly enforced (e.g., 31st March 2026, 5:00 PM).

  • Entry Fee: A non-refundable entry fee of Rs. 260/- per registration is mandatory. This includes the Organizing Expenses component retained by the school (Rs. 50/-) and the amount sent to the CEITRC office (Rs. 210/-).

  • Mode of Payment: Payment must be made online (via payment link, net banking, or bank transfer). We do not accept payments in cash mode under any circumstances.

2. Competition Rules and Format

  • Competition Mode: The competition may include online rounds (Participation and Qualifying) and a Final Round, which may be online (GKSO) or offline (HWSO, held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat).

  • Language: The competition language is English.

  • Compliance: Participants must adhere strictly to all competition rules, guidelines, and deadlines announced by CEITRC.

  • Final Decision: The decision of the Jury and CEITRC organizers regarding results, awards, and any disputes will be final.

3. Final Round (HWSO Specific)

  • Travel Expense: For the Handwriting Scholarship Olympiad (HWSO), if a candidate qualifies for the Final Round (Offline in Ahmedabad, Gujarat) , all transportation expenses to and from the venue must be borne solely by the candidate. Organizers are not responsible for any travel arrangements or expenses.

  • Non-Participation: If a short-listed candidate chooses not to participate in the Final Round, their entry will be terminated, and they will not be eligible for any prize or scholarship.

4. Awards and Resources

  • Awards: Winners are eligible for cash prizes (e.g., ₹10,000 for 1st Place) , trophies, certificates, medals, and online video courses.

  • Resources: Upon registration, participants are provided with resources like online video courses, mock tests, and PDFs. Access to these resources is considered fulfillment of the service
